Rowen Legacy

Rowen was a happy and healthy little boy who was suddenly diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in June of 2024. We began care at Boston Children's Hospital where we decided to stay for the entire duration of treatment. Unfortunately, during our time there housing was a struggle for our large family of 7. With no village to care for our other children we spent more than 12 weeks in a local hotel while we underwent radiation treatments due to many waitlists and our family size exceeding Massachusetts state occupancy limits for smaller housing options. Not only was this expensive, but mentally exhausting to worry about when navigating a childhood cancer diagnosis.
Rowen completed all 6 weeks of radiation treatments and 5 cycles of chemotherapy with a smile on his face. His strength and resilience was nothing less of a real life super hero. In March of 2025 Rowen suddenly passed at Boston Children's from an unrelated complications due to treatment and Rowens Legacy was born.
